Marriott International’s AC Hotels brand is gaining ground with two major openings scheduled for next year.

The dual-brand AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott Reston is set to open next month in the Reston Town Center, a mixed-use development in northern Virginia.
Operated by Donohoe Hospitality Services, the property has 267 guestrooms across 16 floors. The Residence Inn has 120 guestrooms with fully equipped kitchens while the AC Hotel has 147 guestrooms with a modern design. The property is within walking distance of more than 50 retailers, 30 restaurants and a variety of entertainment options. There is also direct pedestrian access to the Reston Town Center Silver Line Metro Station, which connects directly to Washington Dulles International Airport.
“AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott Reston is both a destination and a community hub,” Donavon Delarosa, complex general manager, said in a statement. “It’s a place where people come to connect, unwind, and indulge in luxury while feeling right at home. Whether you are a guest of the property or someone in the community looking to enjoy refined cocktails and delicious food in a place where comfort and inclusion is key, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors.”
The property also has two food-and-beverage venues: Seven Restaurant & Bar is a full-service, all-day dining outlet that will serve European fare under the direction of Executive Chef Alexis Hernandez, while the SYN Rooftop Bar & Lounge will overlook the neighborhood from the 16th floor.
Savannah, Ga.
North Point Hospitality is set to open the AC Hotel by Marriott Savannah Historic District in early 2025.
The 170-key hotel will be steps away from historic squares and other landmarks. The waterfront property was first home to the Novelty Iron Works of Rourke and Sons building, built in the late 1800s, producing masonry, and showcasing the craftsmanship of Savannah's ironworkers. The AC Hotel by Marriott Savannah Historic District will combine the history of the property and city with modern style
“We’re thrilled to open our doors on Savannah’s iconic River Street, a street that has grown from a historic shipping port to a vibrant hub for the community and visitors alike,” General Manager Bryan Cornelius said. “With River Street’s architecture and the blend of new and old that defines Savannah, this area is the ideal backdrop for introducing the AC brand's modern, European-inspired experience. We look forward to becoming a part of this community and providing a unique space where people can enjoy the energy of River Street and relax in a stylish, welcoming environment."
The hotel’s interior design pays homage to Savannah’s unique mix of Southern hospitality and European influence. Many guestrooms have views of the historic district. Public spaces include a rooftop bar with views of the Savannah River and its large container ships, a restaurant on the eighth floor and meeting and event space.
