Hospitality operations platform provider Quore has implemented its Cleanings Plus solution at 74 IHG Army Hotels.
With some 12,190 guestrooms at 40 Army posts across the United States and Puerto Rico, IHG Army Hotels is part of a collaboration between IHG Hotels & Resorts, the U.S. Army, Centinel Public Partnerships and the Army’s Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program. Each hotel will be equipped to optimize performance, track room status and coordinate tasks more efficiently, according to Franklin, Tenn.-based Quore.
“We have a diverse and engaged team of operators,” Derek Nelson, director of regional operations for IHG Army Hotels, said in a statement. “After evaluation, it became clear that Quore’s platform was simple, more intuitive and easy to implement across our portfolio. That—paired with corporate support from IHG—made the transition seamless.”
Cleanings Plus manages housekeeping from start to finish with the objective of streamlining communication, enhancing staff accountability and boosting productivity. The solution includes customized cleaning inspection templates, breakout boards and standard cleaning times.
Nelson said that after testing Cleanings Plus user feedback was immediate. “Housekeepers, supervisors and managers were able to communicate and assign rooms in real time via iPads, desktops and phones. Our GM at the Candlewood Suites Fort Gordon even told us they were able to cancel their radio contract, saving hundreds of dollars monthly. It was that impactful.”
Hands-On Support
Quore, meanwhile, touted the program’s hands-on training and ongoing support with each location having a designated Quore Champion. Quore and IHG Army Hotels have collaborated since 2019. The secure, gated nature of U.S. Army installations adds layers of logistical complexity for both guests and staff, making seamless communication and operational transparency even more critical.
Each year, IHG Army Hotels hosts an internal conference that includes the Quore Awards, recognizing top-performing properties in areas such as consistency, work order completion and platform usage.
“We’re incredibly proud to support the mission of IHG Army Hotels through the rollout of Cleanings Plus,” said Vail Ross, vp of business development, Quore. “This project underscores how technology can help create efficient, secure and respectful environments for the soldiers and families these properties serve.”
