Majestic Hospitality names managing director, real estate

Majestic Hospitality, a full-service property consulting firm providing turn-key development services, names David Kuperberg managing director of real estate. In his new role, Kuperberg will bring a strategic and hands-on approach to working with hotel developers and owners. With expertise on a global basis across the development process, including site selection, hotel programming, design and construction, brand selection and negotiations and capital raising, he offers a comprehensive perspective that supports both creative vision of a project and its financial viability, according to the company.

“David’s two-plus decades of experience growing some of the most well respected brands in hospitality brings a new level of depth to Majestic,” Christopher Henry, Majestic Hospitality CEO said in a statement. “With his industry acumen and long-term industry relationships, David is the ideal candidate to help lead Majestic into its next phase of expansion.”

Kuperberg joins Majestic Hospitality from Hyatt, where he played a key role in the growth and success of the Dream portfolio after Hyatt's acquisition of Dream Hotel Group. Prior to the acquisition in February 2023, he served as chief development officer at Dream Hotel Group. He held similar roles with other leading international hotel companies, including senior vice president of development with Virgin Hotels and at separate times both vice president of U.S. and international development with Wyndham Hotel Group.
