AC Hotel Pasadena makes its debut in southern California

Marriott International has officially opened the 194-room AC Hotel Pasadena in southern California.

Located in Pasadena’s Playhouse Village, the hotel is designed to celebrate the city’s  heritage while embracing a sleek, modern aesthetic, according to the company. The hotel has open spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a neutral color palette with a guestroom mix including 66 double queens, 123 kings, four suites and one penthouse suite.

“We’re excited to bring AC Hotel Pasadena to the Playhouse Village,” Ben Spaulding, General Manager of AC Hotel Pasadena, said in a statement. “Our goal is to create a space that feels both stylish and welcoming, where guests can enjoy a seamless blend of comfort, great design, and thoughtful amenities. Whether guests are here for business, leisure, or to explore the vibrant culture of Pasadena, we look forward to welcoming all.”

AC Hotel Pasadena has over 9,500 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including a ballroom and an executive boardrooms. The AC Lounge—the hotel's main-level bar and street-side patio offering crafted cocktails and tapas—is adorned with lush landscaping and cozy fire features, according to the company. The hotel's AC Kitchen serves a European-inspired breakfast experience.

Partnering with local firm Jones Coffee, the AC Café offers hand-crafted specialty coffee in a European-style setting with to-go options available. The AC Library is designed to provide an intimate space for reading, work, or quiet conversation. The property also includes a fitness center for hotel guests.

The rooftop restaurant and bar, meanwhile, is being led by Boulevard Hospitality Group and slated to open in Q2.
