Broadstreet Global opens new Charleston Marriott hotel

Broadstreet Global opens the Element by Marriott Charleston Airport, a new extended-stay hotel in North Charleston, S.C. Developed in partnership with Contender, the multi-million-dollar project supports the area’s continued economic expansion and rising demand for flexible accommodations in one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing corridors, according to the company.

Located near Charleston International Airport, Tanger Outlets, the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center, Boeing’s South Carolina campus and Joint Base Charleston, the hotel has access to major business, retail and entertainment hubs.

The 123-room Element has spacious layouts, eco-conscious design and long-stay amenities. The property is operated by Hospitality America, a Greenville-based hotel management company.

“Charleston’s growth story is one of the most exciting in the country, and we’re proud to contribute to it with the opening of the Element by Marriott Charleston Airport,” said David Berger, senior managing director of business operations for Broadstreet, said in a statement. “This hotel is exactly the type of community-focused investment that Broadstreet looks for in the Carolinas, creating opportunities that not only meet market demand but also help strengthen the place we call home.”

The Element by Marriott Charleston Airport blends residential comfort with hotel services, having fully equipped in-room kitchens with Energy Star appliances, the brand’s signature Heavenly Bed, spa-inspired bathrooms with all-natural amenities and ergonomic workspaces. Other amenities include a 24/7 Motion fitness center, a saline pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, flexible meeting spaces, and the brand’s signature Rise breakfast and Relax® evening reception.
