Las Vegas now has its first dual-branded non-gaming hotel with the debut of the AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park and Element by Westin Symphony Park.
Developed by Jackson-Shaw and managed by Raleigh, N.C.-based Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the property is the only dual-branded hotel in Las Vegas and the largest combined AC/Element hotel to be built. Located in the Symphony Park district, the property is positioned across from The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and near Fremont Street and close to the Las Vegas Strip.
The hotel offers 18,000 square feet of event space, including what developers describe as the largest unobstructed ballroom in the Las Vegas Arts District. Amenities include a piano lounge, saltwater pool and filtered water stations.
A 19-foot steel art installation by local artist Larry Domsky is featured on the property. Domsky, known for works displayed at Harry Reid International Airport and other Las Vegas landmarks, designed and fabricated the piece specifically for the new development. The project comes as Symphony Park continues to grow with additional cultural and residential developments, including a planned art museum and the 32-story Cello Tower.
