IHG Hotels & Resorts expanded its presence in Texas with the opening of Hotel Indigo Irving – Las Colinas. The hotel is the company's 13th property in the state in 2024, joining other luxury and lifestyle portfolio openings including InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk and Kimpton Santo Hotel.
The 150-room hotel, developed and owned by Shree M Capital, is northwest of Dallas and a 10-minute drive from Dallas Love Field airport.
The lobby has a ceramic mockingbird installation, an ode to the Texas state bird. The front desk has more than 150 hand-woven tiles made with natural materials, while ranch lasso-inspired pendant ring lighting adds a modern twist on Western heritage. The public spaces have a color palette drawn from dried grasslands, limestone, wildflowers, rust and steel. In the guestrooms, a woven headboard and hand-knotted rug pay homage to the textiles Carpenter encountered during his travels.
The neighborhood of Las Colinas is inspired by Europe and other global influences. This is reflected in the hotel's full-service restaurant and bar, KLEO, which serves breakfast and dinner. Additional amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and pool garden with a bar overlooking the canal, a fitness center and 5,400 square feet of meeting and event space.
“We are bringing a much-needed boutique stay to the heart of Las Colinas," Bhavin Patel, owner, Shree M Capital said in a statement. "The hotel’s design reflects the area’s rich corporate and cultural heritage. Every detail—from the design and décor to the flavors in our restaurant—offers a unique, local touch.”
Today, the Hotel Indigo brand has 162 open hotels and 128 in the pipeline globally.
