The TOOR Hotel debuts in downtown Toronto

The TOOR Hotel has officially opened its doors in downtown Toronto as part of JdV by Hyatt. Owned and managed by Canadian-based Manga Hotel Group, the newly opened hotel was created by Canadian hotelier Sukhdev Toor. This hotel is the first property to open under the TOOR Hotel brand. A second location is scheduled to open this year in Soho, New York City.

The 33-story property has 232 guestrooms and suites, with 181 premium residential rental units and elevated amenities, according to the company.  The amenities including destination the Muse Bistro + Bar; valet parking; a 1,500-square-foot fitness center and yoga studio; a 3,000-square-foot southern terrace on the 14th floor and an additional 1,000-square-feet of meeting and event space.

Centrally located in the Garden District in downtown Toronto, TOOR Hotel has access the financial district, historic sites, green spaces, shopping, dining, arts and theatre.

TOOR Hotel’s guestrooms and suites were inspired by Toronto’s vibrant parks and green spaces. Guest rooms and suites feature contemporary interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and modern amenities including 55” televisions and Nespresso machines. Designed as a gateway to Toronto, TOOR Hotel’s façade is adorned with copper-colored circles inspired by the surrounding Garden District.
