Wolf-Gordon has introduced new configuration options to its Gather Acoustical product line including three new designs: Channels, Columns and Windows. The patterns also are available in four new colorways—Scarlet, Sunset, Lime and Admiral—to complement the original designs.
Channels: The double layers of this V-groove engraved design enhance the panel’s acoustical capabilities while providing a classic, tailored look. To achieve this, channels are engraved through the top layer to reveal the base color, and thicker stripes are beveled on both sides for added dimensionality. Channels has an NRC rating of 0.45. Since each of the layers can be manufactured in any Gather colorway, dozens of custom combinations are possible.
Columns: A row of columns formed by sections of Gather being bowed into half-circles gives walls an architectural approach to acoustical wallcovering. Columns has an NRC rating of 0.55 and balances aesthetics with noise mitigation. Similar to Rafter’s assembly, long flat sections with tabs get locked into slots cut into the base panel to form the columns. The dimensional pattern can be formed with any of Gather’s 16 colorways.
Windows: This double-layer panel of cutout rectangular windows plays on architectural fenestration, as well as a backdrop that reduces excessive noise. Beveled edges give the precision-cut rectangles on the top layer added dimension, complemented by engraved horizontal and vertical lines that surround the cutouts. Windows, which has an NRC rating of 0.45, promotes auditory comfort.
