Wolf-Gordon has expanded its Rampart wall protection line to include Rampart Fiber, a plant-based version of the company’s highly durable offering that combines natural beauty with exceptional performance. Crafted from rapidly renewable flax fibers and bio-based resins, Rampart Fiber offers a luxurious wood veneer aesthetic in a PVC-free, low-carbon, and high-performing wall protection with a higher strength-to-weight ratio than steel.
Made in the U.S., Rampart Fiber is a composite wall protection produced in a proprietary method of combining flax fibers and bio-resins. The process utilizes a carbon-negative fiber with a 90-day renewable harvest, resulting in a bio-based material that is free from toxic chemicals and petroleum-based ingredients. Rampart Fiber is an alternative to traditional hardwoods to support healthier indoor environments, meeting sustainability standards such as Red List Free, PFAs-free Mindful Material, Clean Air Gold and has an HPD available.
Rampart Fiber may be specified with custom fabrication options to suit various design needs; it is available in several wood veneer looks featuring a range of tones, and can be customized with digital printing. Designed for high-traffic interiors, Rampart Fiber is scratch-, stain- and impact-resistant, making it ideal for walls, corridors, elevators, lobbies and beyond.
Rampart Fiber is a USDA-certified bio-based product, composed of 79 percent renewable materials. Engineered to meet Type III wallcovering standards—including tensile strength, abrasion resistance and scrub-ability—it also passes the ASTM Hard Body Impact Test (level I), delivering a strength-to-weight ratio that surpasses steel. Designed for real-world performance, Rampart Fiber is easily cleanable with bleach, offering exceptional durability and sustainability without compromising on ease of maintenance.
