Music-inspired Brooklyn hotel gets refresh

Hotel BPM Brooklyn—the flagship location of the music-inspired boutique hotel brand—has embarked on a multimillion-dollar transformation and is scheduled to reopen in late fall 2025.

The refreshed property—which was opened in 2012 by DJ Bijal Panwala and is located in Brooklyn’s Industry City—will be managed by Hotel Equities. Following the renovation, the 76-room hotel will have redesigned guestrooms and public spaces, expanded wellness offerings, a new on-site merchandise venue and the debut of its first-ever restaurant and bar.

Rooms are outfitted with Sound Sleeper beds, energy-efficient lighting and refillable bath amenities. Each room also includes sound machines, wireless charging stations and a new streaming TV platform that lets guests log into their own accounts.

A redesigned lobby & BPM merchandise shop will include a social hub and retail destination showcasing exclusive BPM-branded apparel, curated artist collaborations and custom art installation. The hotel’s first signature restaurant and bar, Fader & Fork, will launch with breakfast service and expand into a full-service dining and cocktail venue.

The modernized fitness center will be upgraded with new cardio and strength equipment, including wireless charging stations integrated into workout machines. Finally, the hotel will play a custom-curated all-day playlist programmed to evolve from morning to night, setting the vibe across the hotel.

Tonya Almallah, founding principal and chief creative officer at AIDT Designs Inc., was the interior designer for the project.
