Jalaram Sleepy Hollow bought the 91-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven in Mississippi from Helix Hospitality. Hunter Hotel Advisors brokered the transaction, which was facilitates by Hunter SVP Tim Osborne and VP Chase Perry. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
Renovated in 2023, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven was renovated in 2023 and includes spacious accommodations designed for work and relaxation. The midscale limited-service Marriott International brand offers complimentary breakfast and amenities including a fitness center, meeting space and outdoor pool.
Jalaram Hotels is a hotel management company with a primary focus on hotels in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Fla.
“Southaven is our home and a strategic market for our company’s growth,” said Rohan Patel of Jalaram Hotel Group in a statement. “It was a pleasure to work with Hunter and Helix on the acquisition.”
Located off I-55, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven has access to major demand drivers. Southaven, 15 miles south of downtown Memphis, is one of the fastest-growing cities in Mississippi and the Southeast, according to Hunter. The company added that the area has a strong industrial market and is recognized as one of the top 10 emerging business hubs.
