Marcus & Millichap sells Minnesota Best Western Plus

Marcus & Millichap has sold a 98-room Best Western Plus in Blaine, Minn.

“The hotel has been well maintained and has a strong track record of consistent performance,” Jon Ruzicka, managing director investments, said in a statement. “With the planned expansion of the adjacent National Sports Center, the property offers significant upside potential for incoming ownership. The new owner is expected to implement thoughtful upgrades and continue proudly serving the growing Blaine community.”

Ruzicka, Joseph Ferguson and Reed Gizinski, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.

The Best Western Plus Blaine is adjacent to the National Sports Center, the world’s largest amateur sports and meeting facility, which draws more than 4 million visitors annually. Built in 2007, the hotel has 98 guestrooms with kitchenettes, an indoor pool, hot tub, arcade room, business center and meeting space.
