Itasca, Ill.-based NexGen Hotels has acquired the Claridge House Chicago hotel in the city’s Gold Coast Historic District and plans to add the hotel to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
The 165-room boutique hotel is close to Wrigley Field, 360 Chicago, the Lakefront Trail, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Magnificent Mile, Soldier Field and the Navy Pier, as well as museums, restaurants, shops and entertainment options.

The property has a fitness center, in-house spa and 685 square feet of meeting space with A/V equipment and technical support. The hotel also has two restaurants.
